Wednesday 20 August 2008 - 09:53:56 | Admin 2Bubwith Bridge on the A163 will be closed for major reconstruction work from Tuesday 26th August to approx. 14th October. This will effect members and visitors coming from the A19 on the A163 (Selby, North Duffield, Escrick, Fulford).
Please use either the B1228 from YORK (through Elvington and Sutton upon Derwent) - see directions page, or the A63 through to Howden and on to the B1228.
Allow a further 20 minutes to your journey time if this affects you. Apologies for the inconvenience but it is beyond our control!

The A team's first match against York Golf Club ended in a 3.5 3.5 Match halved, so a good beginning for both teams!!

SHEELAGH STEVENSON
Thursday 17 April 2008 - 08:22:43 | Admin 2 It is with extreme sadness we have to report the death of Sheelagh Stevenson after a long and bravely fought illness.Sheelagh has been a member here at The Oaks since 1996 and served as Lady Captain in2003, she was a great ambassador for the Ladies Section, always very approachable and putting other people before herself.Our thoughts are with Ken and the family, she will be sorely missed by us all.
